The 2.5 L 4-cylinder gasoline engine of the Nissan Frontier is built to meet any challenge with an output of 166 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 178 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. It has been improved to deliver a reduced internal friction for a smoother response.
